1. Booking
Please note that reservations you make are legally final. A right of withdrawal (reflection period) of 14 days, does not apply to the contract you conclude.
In accordance with local legislation, only tourist stays are allowed.
2. Camping pitch or accommodation
- The recreation company may impose additional requirements for camping equipment.
- Caravans and campers wider than 2.5m or longer than 8m (pole included) are not allowed.
- Double or tandem axles are not allowed.
- When booking, you must specify the size of your camping equipment. If this turns out to be different on arrival, the recreation company may cancel or adjust a placed cancellation on that basis.
- On a camping pitch, a maximum of 2 additional small tents (max 2×2 metres) may be set up. This requires permission and is subject to a surcharge. Different rules may apply in certain periods.
- Each type of accommodation accommodates a certain number of people. Under no circumstances can it be occupied by a higher number of people. In the latter case, the leisure company has the right to refuse any additional person.
3. Preferred pitch
- When fixing certain preferences regarding the accommodation/camping site or the location of the accommodation/camping site, the Recreation Company shall charge a preference fee per accommodation/camping site.
- If the Recreation Company is unable to deliver the preference, the Recreation Company shall refund the preference fee.
4. Payments
- Tenant shall immediately – or otherwise agreed – pay the deposit specified in the booking confirmation. The remainder must be paid no later than 4 weeks before arrival.
- For reservations within 4 weeks, the total amount due must be paid at the same time as the reservation – unless agreed otherwise.
- If the remainder is not paid within the set period, the Recreation Company is not obliged to keep the reserved accommodation available for you.
- If the payment terms are exceeded, the Recreation Company reserves the right to charge costs and/or cancel the reservation.
5. Prizes
- On the campsite’s own website (www.eaurouge.eu) you will get a price quote on your screen when booking.
- Misprints and printing errors reserved.
- The total price becomes final upon receipt of written confirmation with invoice from the leisure company.
- The leisure company applies dynamic pricing in certain periods. As a result, rates may vary during the season, both upwards and downwards.
- Prices are inclusive of VAT.
- In the low season it is quieter at the Recreation Company and a more advantageous rate is applied. It may then happen that certain facilities are not available or limited during these periods, without the Recreation Company informing you in advance.
6. Warranty
- Rental accommodation: The recreation company has the right to charge a deposit for renting accommodation. After departure, the deposit is refunded by transfer, provided that the rental accommodation has been left completely clean, no inventory is missing and no damage has been done to the accommodation or the inventory.
- Rental items: The recreation company may also charge a deposit for rental items. The deposit is refunded when these rental items are returned undamaged.
7. Changes to reservations already made
- If you wish to make a change to an existing reservation, for example rescheduling a period, the Recreation Company is not obliged to make this change. The Recreation
- Company itself determines the extent to which change requests are granted based on possibilities and availability.
- Changes involving a partial cancellation (e.g. shortening of the reserved period) are subject to the cancellation conditions for that part.
- A change fee may be charged for all changes.
- If you check out earlier than the original departure date or time, or arrive later than the original arrival date or time, it is not possible to refund the remaining days.
- If you leave earlier, all rights to your camping pitch and/or rental accommodation are forfeited.
- Reservations are personal and non-transferable. Should the persons wishing to check in differ from those registered in the reservation, the Recreation Company may cancel the reservation and refuse access without any rights.
8. Cancellation policy
- For cancellation between the date of the reservation confirmation and 6 weeks before arrival, 70% of the total rent + reservation costs will be charged.
- If cancelled between 6 weeks before arrival and 2 weeks before arrival, 90% of the total rent + reservation costs will be charged.
- If cancelled between 2 weeks before arrival and the day of arrival itself, the full rent + reservation costs will be charged.
- Cancellations must be made in writing.
- No refunds will be made for earlier departure or later arrival than booked.
- If the Recreation Company is unable to deliver due to force majeure, it will issue a personal credit voucher for the amount already paid.
- If You do not check in with us – without notice – on the day of arrival, You will owe us 100% of the total rental fee.
- If You have not arrived within 24 hours of the agreed date without further notice, this will be considered a cancellation. In that case, You will owe the full total amount.
9. CANCELLATION FUND
Joining a cancellation fund is advised.
10. Arrival and departure
- The arrival and departure times can be found on your booking confirmation, which you will receive directly from the leisure company.
- Camping: On departure, the camping pitch must be left vacated and clean.
- Rental accommodation: Immediately after arrival, you must report any imperfections and/or missing inventory at the reception of the recreation company. On the day of departure, you must leave the accommodation tidy and clean.
11. Vehicles
- During the rental period, which is stated on the booking confirmation, you have permission to enter the grounds of the recreation company with a vehicle.
- One vehicle is allowed per camping pitch or rental accommodation.
- The vehicle must always be parked on its own pitch.
- It is prohibited to park on the roads of the campsite.
- Motorised traffic is not allowed between 11pm and 7am.
- An additional vehicle is possible only after permission and payment of an additional fee.
12. Visitors
- Visitors to campers must report to the recreation company’s reception upon arrival at all times.
- Visitors must pay a visitors’ fee at all times.
- The lessee is liable and responsible for its visitors at all times.
- The lessee shall ensure that visitors respect the regulations and conditions.
- Visitors may not stay overnight free of charge.
- Visitors’ pets are not allowed.
- Visitors must have left the park before 21:00.
13. Domestic animals
- Depending on the accommodation or period, rules regarding pets apply.
- Some accommodation or pitches are pet-free.
- Pets must be registered in advance at all times. If they are not registered, they will not be allowed in the park.
- In the chalets, dogs should bring a dog basket.
- Protection against fleas is compulsory for dogs and/or cats.
- Pets must be kept on a leash at all times.
- Hygienic walks of dogs must absolutely take place outside the camping area.
- Pets are not allowed in some buildings (e.g. the sanitary blocks) or facilities (e.g. the swimming pool or playground).
- It is not allowed to leave pets unattended.
- The owner of the animal is liable for any damage or contamination.
- The owner must also ensure that the presence of his pet does not disturb other guests.
- Attack or guard dogs (type 1 or 2) are not allowed.
- Visitors’ pets are not allowed.
- Only clean, trained and adult dogs are allowed, unfortunately unkempt dogs or puppies are not allowed.
14. Power supply
- The overnight rate includes electricity consumption, for which we have a fair-use policy. However, the maximum consumption included per night is 6kwh.
- You are not allowed to connect large-scale electrical appliances you bring with you to the campsite’s electricity grid.
- Large appliances include all forms of electric heating, cookers, air conditioners, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, etc. In case of disagreement, the final decision is always up to the leisure company.
- In all our types of accommodation (chalets, camping pitches, etc.), it is strictly forbidden to connect your electric vehicle to the electricity grid! Please use the charging stations on the campsite.
15. Swimming pool
- Access to the swimming pool is reserved for tenants of accommodation or camping pitches and any visitors (paying) who hold a receipt.
- The pool regulations (see pool entrance) must be strictly observed.
- Parents and/or supervisors must ensure that children who cannot swim wear swimming aids and/or a life jacket. This must always be supervised by an adult.
- Use of the pool is at your own risk at all times.
16. Liability
- The recreation company cannot accept any liability for loss, theft, damage or injury caused to or by users of the accommodation or camping pitch offered through the recreation company, regardless of how such damage or injury arose.
- Participation in activities organised by the recreation company or by third parties is entirely at your own risk.
- Statements by employees of the recreation company, in whatever capacity, regarding the liability of the recreation company are not binding on the recreation company.
- Tenants are jointly and severally liable for damage to the property of the leisure company.
17. Code of conduct / House Rules
- Between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m., there must be silence at the recreation facility.
- Music is allowed only if it does not cause noise pollution for the surrounding area. Between 22:00 and 8:00 music is no longer allowed and all noise must be kept to a minimum.
- The barrier is open between 07:00 and 23:00 – in exceptional cases, this may be deviated from by the Recreation Company.
- Cars/motorcycles must drive at walking pace on the grounds (maximum 10 km).
- Motorcycles, mopeds and mopeds may only be carried by hand with the engine turned off.
- Your visitors’ cars may be parked in the parking lot, outside the barrier.
- Campers or users of a rental accommodation or their visitors must respect the rules of conduct and regulations, which the manager wishes to see respected by the guests present on his premises.
- Campers or users of a rental accommodation who cause nuisance can, after a warning, be removed from the accommodation or from the recreation company, without refund of payments.
- Campfires or other open fires are never allowed.
- Het roken is in alle huuraccommodaties en gemeenschappelijke ruimtes verboden.
- Enkel luchtdoorlatende gronddoeken zijn toegestaan onder de voortent of de kampeertent.
- Feestende groepen zijn bij ons niet welkom, bij aankomst kan door het Recreatiebedrijf de toegang geweigerd worden.
- Het gebruik van verdovende middelen en/of drugs is ten strengste verboden.
- Ongewenst gedrag (zoals: ongewenste intimiteiten, belediging, bedreiging of intimidatie, racisme, discriminatie, agressie et cetera) tegen gasten en/of medewerkers van het Recreatiebedrijf wordt absoluut niet getolereerd. Wij hanteren hierop een zero-tolerance beleid, dit houdt in dat een inbreuk, kan leiden tot onmiddellijke verwijdering van het terrein en een eventuele aangifte bij de politie, zonder voorafgaande waarschuwing.
18. Discounts
- Korting wordt berekend over de basishuurprijs (niet over bij te boeken/ verplichte extra’s, toeristenbelasting, kosten elektriciteit of kosten eind-schoonmaak).
- Korting geldt alleen voor nieuwe reserveringen. Op reeds gemaakte reserveringen zijn kortingsacties niet van toepassing.
- Recht op korting dient direct bij reservering gemeld te worden, verrekening of restitutie achteraf is niet mogelijk.
- Korting geldt niet in combinatie met andere aanbiedingen.
- Prijswijzigingen voorbehouden.
- Druk- en zetfouten voorbehouden.
19. PhotoS and VIDEOs
- The recreation company assumes that its guests agree that visual material on which the guest may or may not be recognizable can be used for various expressions from the recreation company.
- If the tenant objects to the use of certain images – on which you, your family members or one of your guests are recognizable – the tenant can make this known in writing and the recreation company will remove the images or make the persons concerned unrecognizable as far as possible.
20. Complaints
It may happen that you have a complaint. You should take up this complaint on the spot and directly with the front desk, in order to give the Recreation Company the opportunity to resolve it immediately – if possible. Should the complaint not be handled to your satisfaction, you may contact the Recreation Company in writing.
21. AMENDMENT CLAUSE
The Recreation Company is authorized to unilaterally change these General Terms and Conditions. The latest version of these conditions can always be found on this website and / or can be consulted at the reception.
