Fishing in the Ardennes: the combination of a beautiful natural environment and many rivers makes the Ardennes the ideal place for fishing or fly fishing. Fishing is possible in the Ardennes, especially in the area of camping l’Eau Rouge in many different places, from calm waters to fast flowing rivers. That is why the Ardennes has been the place for fishing (and of course fly fishing) in Belgium for years.

Our camp site also offers a great base for anglers who want to fish (eg trout).

Fishing in the Belgium Ardennes

Many of our guests are happy to bring their fishing tackle on their vacation. That is not for nothing of course …

In the vicinity of our campsite you will find a varied trail of 33 kilometers long and along several quiet and rugged rivers. Such as the Amblève, Eau rouge, Warche and Rechterberg.

The entire course is naturally bathed in peace and quiet. That makes it naturally ideal for fishing. You can enjoy fishing for trout who like to stay in the small and larger rivers of the Ardennes.
