Our campsite is the ideal base for several (whether or not full-day) trips in the surrounding. So you have of course the beautiful circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, but there are also many other attractions in the area, fun activities for young and old and many nice, authentic villages to discover. Ardennes at its best: Hiking

Ardennes campsite Domaine de l’Eau Rouge in Stavelot is the ideal base for wonderful walks through the Ardennes. Something for everyone! So there are quieter walks with not too much height difference that are easily accessible to everyone; but there are also hikes with more differences in altitude and here and there some exciting obstacles for the more adventurous hikers.

The Ardennes offer plenty of cycling opportunities for both the experienced (adventurous) cyclist and the slightly less experienced cyclist. For example, there is the RAVEL bicycle network: that is a bicycle network built on former railways, so you know for sure that the bike path is not too steep and always good to walk. But the adventurous mountain biker also dives into the woods with us. And the BMX man can of course go to the BMX job of Ferme Libert!

Longest and most beloved with the drivers: The circuit of Spa-Francorchamps

A stone’s throw from the Eau Rouge campsite is the longest and most popular circuit among Europeans – among the drivers and fans – the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. All kinds of activities are organized throughout the year; something for everyone! With, of course, the big F1 annual hit!

Think of the 24 hours of SPA, the EUROPEAN LE MANS SERIES, the PORSCHE days and of course the various old-timer events.

Good base for: Fishing

The combination of a beautiful natural environment and many rivers makes the Ardennes the ideal place for fishing. Fishing is possible in the Ardennes, especially in the area of camping l’Eau Rouge in many different places, from calm waters to fast flowing rivers. The Ardennes is not for nothing the place for fishing in Belgium for years.

Apart from all the beautiful sights of the above, there are also many fun activities to do near the Ardennes campsite Domaine de l’Eau Rouge in Stavelot. How about a day of Plopsacoo or the caves of Hotton or Remouchamps or walking around between the wolves.
