Hiking in and around Stavelot, in the province Luik, becomes much easier with the completely updated hiking map, which has been designed by the National Geographic Institute. Stavelot has many aces on the table: it is a beautiful city, waterfalls of Coo, the circuit of Francorchamps, and the Hoge Venen are all close by.
The topography map at scale 1:25.000 shows images of the territory of Stavelot, Francorchamps, Coo and Hockai. You can find as many as 28 Waymarked hiking trails with distances that vary from 2.5 km to 13.5 km.
Besides the sketched routes, there are also departure points, route numbers, and waymarks displayed. They are also summed up in the legend, and supplemented with distance and difficulty levels. Besides, the routes of long distance hiking paths GR 5, GR 14, GR 571 and the Ravel are also taken up. On the other side there is a map of the city Stavelot, a few color pictures, and extensive tourist information about the region in the three national languages.
The price of the map is € 7,50. It is for sale at the reception of Camping L’Eau Rouge
